University of Exeter Learning Spaces Upgrade 2023

Recently, we were awarded a contract by the University of Exeter for the upgrade of the Learning Spaces audio and visual systems across the University campus. This is part of an ongoing scheme that we have been proud to have been involved with since 2019, gradually upgrading the entire campus on an annual basis.

Project Description:

This year's contract comprised audio-visual upgrades across various rooms in the Harrison Building, Amory Building, Streatham Court, XiFi Building and the Forum.

Extensive electrical works were completed which included the supply and installation of new LED lighting, power cabling, containment, trunking, fire alarm alterations, new accessories and other associated works.

Our Aim:

The works were carried out in term time and during the summer break. We worked with the University to accommodate their requirements, specifically regarding discretion and care during exams, graduations and open days. A continual process of maintaining tidiness and cleanliness throughout the contract was adhered to by us and the contractors working under the company.

At Fifields Construction, we are pleased to have worked with the University to deliver a high-quality project, ready for the new term in September. We enjoy helping our educational systems across the South West improve their learning environments.
