Our team have established strong relationships with our supply chain, including architects, surveyors, sub-contractors and suppliers.

The History before Fifields
How it Started
Fifields Electrical Services began in the early nineties, operating from a small office in Crediton. As the company expanded, it added plumbing services and completed work for major clients across the Southwest.

In 2003, Daniel and Julie moved the company to Exeter, where they both worked from Pinhoe. Within three years, the company expanded and needed to find new premises to grow further. Premises were found on the Marsh Barton Industrial Estate, which was occupied in 2006. In 2011, a building company was established within Fifields due to the previous years of success.

Since 2014, Dave has been the Managing Director of Fifields and has played a significant role in establishing the company's outstanding reputation.
We thank the entire Fifields team for their unwavering hard work and dedication to this present day.
Meet The Team
At the core of Fifields Construction is a dedicated team of professionals with significant experience in the construction industry.
With their combined wealth of industry experience and dedication, we believe that our team is what makes Fifields Construction work.
Our staff are fully trained and certified to the highest standard and we continually look at ways in invest in our people.
We have high Health & Safety standards. All of our Contracts Managers and Site Managers are CITB SMSTS certified, hold valid in date CSCS cards and are 3-day first aid trained. Our Site Managers hold Scaffold Inspection Certification and face fit all site personnel. All site staff are asbestos awareness trained.


Dave Hitt
Managing Director
Dave has over 30 years experience of Managing Construction. His approach is dynamic and client friendly. Around him is a team of people with similar values and complimentary experience. He is involved in every contract to ensure a high level of service. Dave is a fully qualified carpenter, is CITB 5-day SMSTS accredited and holds a black (management) CSCS card.

Mike Vanstone
Director & Estimator
Mike has worked in the building industry for over 30 years, accumulating a wealth of experience.
As well as a Director of Fifields Construction, Mike is also our senior estimator.
He is adept at generating a competitive tender be it small works or major contracts with values over one million

Geoff Moxey
Director & Estimator
With over 25 years experience in the construction industry, Geoff is adept in pricing and securing contracts, with values varying from a few thousand and up to five million. With a good appreciation of the local market and a pride in providing a concise and accurate estimate; clients can be confident that Geoff aims to ensure that tenders priced are on time and competitive.

Shaun Parker
Director & Contracts Manager
Shaun’s heads up our Taunton office and his military background ensures that his projects are carried out to the highest efficiency.
He has a professional and friendly approach and is calm under pressure.
His pleasant character ensures that the client is assured in finding suitable solutions for all parties to keep the project on programme and within budget.
Shaun holds CITB 5-day SMSTS certification.

Paul Bottomley
Quantity Surveyor
Paul holds a HNC in building studies and started out as a small works estimator, surveyor and buyer.
He has vast experience in working with reputable consultancy and surveyor practices, establishing relationships with many professionals and developing an intricate knowledge of their working methods. Paul joined Fifields Construction in 2018 on a freelance basis and has since become a major asset to our team.

Jack Wayland
Office Manager
​Jack has been at Fifields Construction for sixeteen years. His key role is to ensure all office operations run smoothly.

Having worked here for so long, Jack knows the company and its operations like the back of his hand. He enjoys developing our working methods, helping customers, and ensuring that day-to-day office operations run smoothly.

Kelli Simeone
Quantity Surveyor
Kelli has worked for Fifields since January 2023 and has worked in the construction industry for over 15 years. Kelli works on a wide range of projects from listed buildings to modern facilities within the healthcare and educational sector and enjoys the diversity of her role.
She is currently studying for her master’s degree in quantity surveying at the University College of Estates Management and is due to graduate in 2026.

Lee Mills
Contracts Manager
Lee has been a Site Manager at Fifields for four years, but recently has been promoted to Contracts Manager.​
Lee holds an NVQ Level 6 in site mangement and an NVQ level 3 in carpentry. ​
After being in the construction industry for 30+ years, Lee has the knowledge and competency to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, but most importantly, to the highest of standards that we pride ourselves on at Fifields Construction.
