Grendon Road Almshouses Grand Opening

The entire project, site, and design teams attended the grand opening event at Grendon Road Almshouses, which was organised by the Exeter Homes Trust on May 20th.

During the event, we had the chance to explore the building's external and internal works, meet those involved in the project, and unveil the Mary Tarr plaque.

Individuals across the country came to take a first look at the historic building, which was highly complimented.

Our Work at the Historical Grendon Included:

-The refurbishment of twenty-two flats.

-New mechanical & electrical services provided.

-Underfloor heating installed.

-Upgraded shower rooms, living areas, ensuite toilets & kitchens.

-Two-floor extensions.

Fifields Construction has worked with Exeter Home's Trust for many years, restoring Grendon, Atwill & Magdalen Almshouses.
