Handing Out Ice Creams to the Site Team During the Heatwave

During this week’s heatwave, we’ve been handing out ice creams to our site teams and clients at Pinhoe Surgery and RSPCA Little Valley — including dog-friendly ice cream for our four-legged visitors!

With temperatures in Exeter reaching around 35°C this week, these refreshing treats have certainly helped everyone stay cool and beat the heat.

Staying safe in hot weather is what matters most. During periods of extreme heat, we encourage everyone on site to:

- Drink water regularly throughout the day.

- Wear appropriate sun protection, including hats and sunscreen

-Take breaks in shaded or cooler areas where possible

-Look out for colleagues and recognise the signs of heat exhaustion
