Building a New Baboon Enclosure for Paignton Zoo in Devon!

The new baboon enclosure at Paignton Zoo is well underway. On July 3rd, construction crews started by enabling works that prepared the site for the main build.

Our team and contractors layered a 100-meter temporary access road. Now workers and equipment can reach the site without disrupting day-to-day zoo operations. The old zebra stables also got an upgrade - crews demolished the dilapidated structures. By July 21st, the site was cleared and ready for construction.

We continue collaborating closely with the zoo and design team to finalize plans and specifications for the new enclosure. Our shared goal is crafting an engaging, enriching habitat where guests can observe the animals. Based on the smooth progress so far, we secured the construction contract and are ready to start this exciting project in Autumn 2023.
